Arduino In Nigeria

Still wondering why some stuffs like this are still so hard to get within the country.
Why can't I get a clean Arduino UNO in any eastern town here as my friends in other countries would?
This type of material should by now in the country be readily available to any student who wishes to make use of them at any time and any place. Does is really mean we do not have importers in Nigeria who are already aware of the opportunities this kind of devices can offer electrical and electronic students, hobbyists, lecturers, the entire embedded community and even to Kidd that are passionate about embedded projects?
It actually took me a couple of months before I  was finally able to have this thing in my hand and it was not funny.
